A Brief Time Management Quiz Can Reveal Much
Take the following time management quiz in order to discover whether your manage your time or you are ruled by a
lack of adequate time management skills.
1) Do you finish your tasks for the day with enough time to check over them for errors and/or omissions?
2) Do you find yourself struggling to make it from one appointment to the next on time?
3) Do you find yourself forgetting events, activities, and other things at home or work because your schedule is so
full?
4) Do you have the time to do the things you enjoy in life?
5) Do you always feel rushed from one place to another?
The truth of the matter is that while this time management quiz is rather simple in nature, it allows you to
discover a few truths about yourself. For instance, if the answer to more than one of the questions above was yes
then you probably do have some degree of difficulty when it comes to properly managing your time. The time
management quiz doesn't answer the questions of where your time management issues lie but provides an outstanding
starting point for you to begin learning better ways to take back control of your days.
In reality the vast majority of us do not need a time management quiz to indicate that we are having difficulty
managing out time. Simple introspection can typically take care of the problem as well as help you find solutions
of your very own. The following tips should help you better manage your time whether you need a time management
quiz to point out the flaws in your current way of doing things or not.
1) Take advantage of the hours each day that you are most productive by reserving the more difficult tasks for
those hours. My personal experience is that morning is my most productive time of day. I tend to try and get as
much business out of the way during the morning as possible. Unfortunately for me, that is generally the time of
day that I'm spending preparing the family to face the day, which leaves little time for me to tackle my problem
chores. I have taken steps to making the family routine more hassle free in order to free up more work time during
those oh so precious and few hours of productivity. We all have them; perhaps you should take a time management
quiz of your own to find out when your most productive hours each day are.
2) Identify the things in your life that rob you of time and eliminate them from your schedule whenever possible.
If your cell phone is limiting your ability to get work done at the office, try leaving it in the car and telling
friends and family members that they should call the office only in the case of an emergency. A good time
management quiz will go much further than identifying the problems you have but will also recommend solutions that
you can build into your day.
3) Don't let your time management efforts become a distraction in and of themselves. There are all kinds of
personalities in this world. One particular type is the in control type. If this personality is tackling time
management issues, he or she is going all in. This can be problematic, as people often tend to spend more time
addressing the issue than the issue wasted in the first place.
Take the brief time management quiz above. If you aren't happy with the answers, sit down and decide what steps you
can take in an effort to make them more favorable.
